Honestly, a better idea would be similar to Achievements. So instead of seeing a completely meaningless rank, you'd see a point total, from This way, you could actually get a rough estimate of how good that god is.

Actually, a better idea might be getting into a certain level. Getting 10 points is level one, or novice; 20 points is better, etc. This is because it might be difficult to equalize the amount of points you could get for every god. Games ending before 20 minutes are disqualified. This is to prevent "achievement farming," or some cheese with the shorter achievements.

Whaddya think? Like I have Anhur rank 10 for some reason and that is probably one of my worst gods :P But what a lot of ppl seem to forget is that someone with rank 10 could have been playing nothing but that god.

So the fact that he has played that god a lot does not mean he is good at the game yet These are basically pieces of artwork reperesenting a Skin or character, also displaying their name and the name of the skin. It would be a waste of time showing you another reperesentation of this without words on it, though.

Godcards sometimes also have special effects on them, like Gifs. Even though Godcards are official, you can spot small inaccuracies occasionally. I think this may be the most blatant example, though.

When people refer to Voice Packs, it may be confusing exactly what they mean, as there appear to be two meanings. You can locate and use the VGS by pressing the V key.

Then you can select the line you want to say. You can see lines you may speak on the left side on your screen. However, if you are new to using the VGS, you may take a while using the options, so do not be afraid to take some time learning them.

This will put an alert on the map as well as on the battlefield, only for your team, and make you say Attack. Excuse me for the long title to this chapter, I tried to cut it down. At the moment, there are two types of things which can require a skin. Those are a Character and a Ward. As you would know, your character is anybody you can play as. But a Ward?

Wards are a common thing in SMITE, and are by default a blue pyramid, which has an eye engraved in it. These allow you to know when an enemy is in the area it can see on the map. A Ward is purchased by the Gold rewarded in in-game matches, and when you purchase one it will not effect the next round. It counts as a consumable and there are two types of Wards; Ward and a Sentry Ward, which allows you to see enemy wards.

But you should already know this. All Ward Skins cost Gems, and not Favor. Gods are classified as being either magical or physical, with their abilities and basic attacks scaling out of that power.

A god's magical and physical protection values will reduce the amount of damage the corresponding types of damage apply. A target's protection values can be reduced by penetration and reduction items. For more detailed information about these topics, please visit their main article: Attack and Defense. Statistics are the values that indicate the strength, resistance, mobility, utility, etc. These statistics are grouped up in 3 main categories: Offensive, Defensive and Utility. Offensive stats are those that are related to the damage output of a god, while Defensive stats are those related to the mitigation of the damage they take.

Utility stats are those that provide benefits that are not necessarily linked to offense or defense. For more detailed information about this, please visit its main article: Statistics. Crowd control also called CC is a term used to refer to abilities that influence or prevent the abilities or actions of other character s.

These penalties will reduce a god's movement speed while they perform them. Some abilities allow one or more of these penalties to be ignored. For more detailed information about this topic, please visit its main article: Movement penalty. Structures are the main objectives of most Game Modes in Smite. The game features three types of Structures: Towers, Phoenixes and the Titans.

A structure, except for an external tower, is invulnerable until the ones preceding it are destroyed. For more detailed information about this topic, please visit its main article: Structures. Minions sometimes called creeps are AI controlled units that aid the gods in battle.

These minions are allied to one of the two teams, proceeding down their corresponding lane, and will only attack enemy units and structures. This area usually contains neutral monster camps that will grant players different bonuses after defeating them.
